DAY 1: MOMBASA - ARUSHA - NGORONGORO (Mombasa to Ngorongoro 500 kms, Appx. 7 hrs with stops)   The 3 days Mombasa Lake Manyara  Ngorongoro crater “marathon” safari begins early from Mombasa and the Kenya coast beaches....... We start before dawn for our long drive across the border into Tanzania (the land of Mount Kilimanjaro).  The daylong safari journey takes us via distinct climatic, scenic, and social regions.  The safari journey is via tarmac and a stretch of  murram tracks to  Arusha where we stop for our midday meal. After lunch  proceed to the Lake Manyara for afternoon game viewing drive.   Dinner and overnight at  your Lake Manyara safari lodge or tented camp.       DAY 2: NGORONGORO CRATER   Early breakfast at your Lake Manyara safari lodge or tented camp.  With our picnic lunches, we depart Lake Manyara for the Ngorongoro crater.  This will be followed by  a dramatic descent to the floors of the Ngorongoro crater where we spend the day on game viewing drives in this natural phenomena.  Elephants, Lions, Hippos, Cheetah, Rhino and other lesser wild animal species and birds will be spotted.   Lunch shall be at the Ngoitoktok springs picnic site.  We later ascend to the crater rim for meals and overnight at our Ngorongoro crater lodge or tented camp.       DAY 3: NGORONGORO - ARUSHA - TAVETA - MOMBASA (Ngorongoro to Mombasa 500 kms, Appx. 7 hrs with stops)   Breakfast at the crater rim.  We depart to Arusha for an early lunch.  Proceed to the Taveta boarder and onto the Kenya coast to arrive in the early evening.  Drop off at our respective Kenya Coast Beach hotels.         wildlife lodges Sopa lodges Serena hotels 2 persons: per person: $ 1275 $ 1315 $ 1355 4 persons: per person: $ 1135 $ 1175 $ 1205 6 persons: per person: $ 1075 $ 1115 $ 1155 Children below 3 years: free   Children between 4-12 years 75% of adult rate:     Children between 13-18 years 90% of adult rate:       Luxury Lodges used include:  Lake Manyara Hotel, Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, Ngorongoro Sopa, and the Ngorongoro Serena.
