DAY
1: MOMBASA - ARUSHA - L. MANYARA
(530 kms, Appx. 7 hrs with
stop overs) |

The
4 nights, 5 days Mombasa, Lake Manyara,
Ngorongoro, Serengeti road safari
into Tanzania begins with an early
pick up transfer from the Mombasa
and Kenya coast beaches.......
We start at dusk for our long drive
across the border into Tanzania.
There will be stopovers for breakfast
and immigration formalities. The
scenic drive takes us through distinct
climatic, topographic and social
regions. Lunch will be at Arusha.
We proceed to the Lake Manyara for
game viewing in search of the famous
tree climbing lions and large flocks
of flamingos. Scenically, the park
is beautiful. Meals and overnight
at our base.

| DAY
2: L.MANYARA - NGORONGORO CRATER (70
kms, Appx. 1½ hrs) |
|
An
early breakfast at L. Manyara. We
depart with picnic lunches for the
Ngorongoro crater. We descend (670M)
into the floors of the crater in
4 wheel cruisers. It will be a full
day of unsurpassed game viewing
with only a lunch break at Ngoitoktok
springs picnic site. Game volume
and variety is left to your imagination.
We will ascend to the crater rim
for sunset views, meals and overnight.

3: NGORONGORO - SERENGETI (60
kms, Appx. 1 hr) |
|
We
depart Ngorongoro after an early
breakfast for Olduvai Gorge. Here,
we visit various sites of the gorge
to see where the remains of pre-historic
man were discovered. We will have
lunch at the gorge. We proceed to
the vast Serengeti plains with afternoon
game viewing. Meals and overnight
at our Serengeti base. |

4: SERENGETI |
|
Day
spent at the Serengeti: We will
trans-locate and change overnight
bases. Serengeti is large, the variety
and concentration of game is great.
Its regions are climatically varied.
This we encounter as we transverse
the reserve. Meals and overnight
at our base. |

DAY
5: SERENGETI - ARUSHA - MOMBASA
(640 kms, Appx. 8½ hrs with
lunch stop over) |

After
breakfast, with en-route game viewing,
we depart for Arusha. Lunch at Arusha.
Proceed to Mombasa via the border
town of Taveta to arrive in the
early evening. Drop off at your
respective hotels. |
