Safari leaves from Nairobi to  spend 2 nights at  Amboseli which is  located at the shadows of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Tour progresses to Lake Naivasha where you spend a night and enjoy a discovery boat ride and nature walks.

You shall also visit the Hell’s gate national park on a short hike and bicycle ride that brings you closer to Nature

Lake Nakuru  national park and world famous bird haven is  our next stop.

Here we view flamingoes and other bird species.

There shall be  guaranteed encounters of the  endangered Black & Whte Rhino species

The World famous Masai Mara game reserve is the last stop with  3 nights & days of extensive wildlife viewing on rewarding game drives in search of Big five and more

Tour accommodation  is in a selection of economy , standard or luxury safari lodges & tented camps depending on your budget & style.

Transport is in open top safari  tour minivans

SAFARI  ITINERARY

Day 1: Nairobi- Amboseli: (250 km:3-4 hrs drive)

0730hrs: You shall be collected  from your Nairobi hotel or Nairobi airport

The morning drive is via the Nairobi- Mombasa highway.

The scenic drive is  through open Africa with  expansive savannah plains dotted with local homesteads and colorful Masai tribes men and their cattle.

An afternoon game viewing drive is scheduled  

Weather permitting the mount Kilimanjaro snow- capped peaks shall be visible during the afternoon game viewing drive.

Overnight at your  Amboseli safari lodge or tented camp.

Meal plan: Lunch, Dinner.


What you may see at Amboseli National Park ...

Elephant herds, Cheetah, Bufallo,   Giraffe, Zebra, Lion, Plains Game, Crocodile, Mongoose, Hyrax, Dik-dik, Lesser Kudu and Nocturnal Porcupine

 

Day 2: Amboseli National Park.

This shall be a day of Game viewing drives, scenery viewing, relaxation.
Day shall be spent at the Amboseli  with maximum game viewing drives spotting game and wallowing in the scenery.

There shall be an early morning,followed by a mid- morning and a later  afternoon game viewing drive
Between the wildlife viewing sessions, your Amboseli lodge / camp  provides  relaxation, meals and other  activities

Your safari vehicle and driver / guide are at your disposal for unlimited game viewing drives.

Overnight at  Amboseli safari lodge / tented camp.

Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch, dinner.


Day 3: Amboseli- Lake Naivasha -(340 km: 5-6  hrs)

Early morning game viewing drive as you exit  the Amboseli national park. 

Proceed to  Lake Naivasha at the floors of the Great Rift Valley.

Afternoon boat ride viewing  exotic birdlife and  hippos amid the  serenity of this freshwater rift valley lake.

Overnight at your Lake Naivasha lodge / tented camp resort

Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Boat ride, bird watching, nature walks, visit to hells gate 

 

Day 4: Lake Naivasha Lake Nakuru: (80km:1 hr)

The day starts with a nature cum bird walk in scenic settings at the lake shores

Take a bicycle and cycle to the nearby Hells gate national park where you explore on foot this canyon as you spot small game.

Later a  short 1 hour drive takes us to the lake Nakuru national park.

Birdlife abounds with flamingoes seen in their  thousands together with pelicans and other bird  species.

The lake is host to  the black and white rhino species, warthogs, lions, zebras, giraffe and many more.

Overnight at a lake Nakuru safari lodge / tented camp.

Meal plan: breakfast, lunch, dinner.

 

What you may see at Lake Nakuru Nationa Park ..........

Flamingo , Makalia water falls, Unique vegetation, Lion. White rhino, Black Rhino, Giraffe, about 450 species of terrestial birds, waterbuck.


Day 5: Lake Nakuru- Masai mara: (285 km:5.5 hrs.)

An early bird and game viewing drive as you exit  the lake Nakuru national park.

Proceed to the Masai mara game reserve.

Arrive Masai Mara in the mid afternoon

Proceed on an afternoon game viewing drive

Overnight at a Masai Mara safari lodge or tented camp.

Meal Plan: breakfast, lunch, dinner.


Day 6: Masai mara - Full day

Today shall be a game viewing extravaganza!

Masai Mara Game reserve remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system in the Natural world.
It is host to  the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals than any other wildlife park in the region. 
The scenic appeal of the tree studded savannah plains, the  moderate climate and diversity of wild game species makes it a one stop shop for game viewing activities.

We shall traverse the Masai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing   encountering the big five and more of the lesser game.

Picnic lunch shall be by the Mara river as we watch hippos & crocodiles or maybe the great migration (July – October)

Day 7:Full day at the Masai mara

Extra day at the Masai Mara with scheduled game viewing drives

Day 8: Masai Mara - Nairobi: (265km:5hrs)

Early pre-breakfast game viewing drive.

Depart Masai Mara with an exit game viewing drive.

Proceed to Nairobi to arrive in the late afternoon.

Drop off at Nairobi airport  or Nairobi hotel

Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch.
