Easy paced drives and well staggered  safari overnights  make this a friendly family or seniors holiday safari.

You depart  from Nairobi and spend 2 nights at the Amboseli which is  located at the shadows of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Tour progresses to Lake Naivasha where you spend a night and enjoy a discovery boat ride and nature walks.

You shall also visit the Hell’s gate national park on a short hike and bicycle ride that brings you closer to Nature

Lake Nakuru  national park and world famous bird haven is  our next stop.

Here we view flamingoes and other bird species.There shall be a guaranteed spotting of the  endangered Rhino.

The World famous Masai Mara game reserve is last stop with  2 nights & days of wildlife viewing on rewarding game viewing drives in search of Big five.

Safari accommodation  is offered in a selection of economy , standard or luxury safari lodges & tented camps depending on your budget & style.

SAFARI  ITINERARY

Day 1: Nairobi- Amboseli: 250 km:3-4 hrs drive

0730hrs: Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or Nairobi airport

Depart  for the Kenya safari tour.
The morning drive shall take us via the Nairobi- Mombasa highway.

The scenic drive is   through open Africa with  expansive savannah plains dotted with local homesteads and colorful Masai tribes men and their cattle.

You arrive at the Amboseli national park in time for a welcome shower, refreshments and lunch.
An afternoon game viewing drive is scheduled  when animals are at their most active.

Weather permitting the mount Kilimanjaro snow capped peaks shall be visible during the afternoon game viewing drive.

Overnight at your Amboseli safari lodge or tented camp.

Meal plan.Lunch,Dinner.


What you may  see at the Amboseli National Park ...

Elephant herds, Cheetah, Bufallo,   Giraffe, Zebra, Lion, Plains Game, Crocodile, Mongoose, Hyrax, Dik-dik, Lesser Kudu and Nocturnal Porcupine

Day 2: Amboseli National Park.

This shall be a day of Game viewing drives, scenery viewing, relaxation.
Day shall be spent at the Amboseli national park with maximum game viewing drives spotting game and wallowing in the scenery.

There shall be an early morning,mid morning and a mid afternoon game viewing drive
In between the wildlife viewing,your safari lodge / camp shall provide relaxation, meals and other  activities

Your safari driver guide and vehicle are at your disposal for unlimited game viewing drives.

Overnight at your Amboseli safari lodge / tented camp.

Meal plan.Breakfast,lunch,dinner.

Day 3: Amboseli- Lake Naivasha -340 km: 5-6  hrs

Early morning game  and scenery viewing drive as you exit  the Amboseli national park. 

Proceed to  the Lake Naivasha at the floors of the Great Rift Valley.

Arrive at the Lake Naivasha in time for lunch

Afternoon boat ride at the Lake Naivasha where you view exotic birdlife and  hippos amid the  serenity of this freshwater rift valley lake.

Overnight at your Lake Naivasha safari lodge / tented camp.

Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

 Boat ride, bird watching,nature walks,visit to hells gate 

 

Day 4: Lake Naivasha Lake Nakuru: 80km:1 hr

The day starts with a nature cum bird walk in naturally beautiful settings at the shores of Lake Naivasha.

Take a bike and cycle to the nearby Hells gate national park where you explore on foot this canyon as you spot small game.

Later a  short 1 hour drive will take us to the lake Nakuru national park.

Birdlife abounds with flamingoes seen in their  thousands together with pelicans and other bird  species.

The lake is host to  the black and white rhino species, warthogs, lions, zebras, giraffe and many more.

Overnight at your lake Nakuru safari lodge / tented camp.

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

What you may  see at Lake Nakuru Nationa Park ..........

Flamingo , Makalia water falls, Unique vegetation, Lion . White rhino, Black Rhino, Giraffe, about 450 species of terrestial birds,waterbuck.

 

Day 5: Lake Nakuru- Masai mara:285 km:5.5  hrs.

An early bird and game viewing drive as you exit  the lake Nakuru national park.

Proceed to the Masai mara game reserve.

Arrive Masai Mara and commence game viewing drives.

Overnight at your Masai Mara safari lodge or tented camp.

Day 6: FULL DAY AT THE MASAI MARA

Today shall be a game viewing extravaganza!

Masai Mara Game reserve remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system in the Natural world.
It is host to  the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals than any other wildlife park in the region.
The scenic appeal of the tree studded savannah plains, the  moderate climate and diversity of wild game species makes it a one stop shop for game viewing activities.

We shall traverse the Masai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing   encountering the big five and more of the lesser game.

Picnic lunch shall be by the Mara river as we watch hippos & crocodiles or maybe the great migration (July – October)

Overnight shall be at our Masai Mara safari lodge/ Tented camp

Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.


Day 7: Masai Mara - Nairobi: 265km:5hrs

Early pre-breakfast game viewing drive.

Depart Masai Mara with an exit game viewing drive.

Proceed to Nairobi to arrive in the late afternoon.

Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch.
