Tour visits Amboseli national park located at the shadows  of Mount Kilimanjaro, the Aberdares  with an overnight  stay at a tree hotel / lodge, Lake Nakuru National park and the Rift valley & the ultimate Masai Mara game reserve.

This is a private wildlife safari trip.

We have suggested safari accommodation  in optional economy, standard or luxury safari lodges or  tented camps.

This is so that you can chose  your option depending on your safari budget or style

Safari transport and game viewing drives are in a customized open top  safari minivan..

 Transport and game viewing drives can also be provided in 4 x 4 Land cruiser Jeep  at a supplementary cost.

Tour  itinerary. 

Day 1: Nairobi- Amboseli National Park:(250 km.3.5 – 4 hours)

0730 hrs: Pick up from your Nairobi hotel/Nairobi Airport  or residence

Depart Nairobi for the Amboseli National park  along  the Nairobi - Mombasa highway
Proceed  via typical African savanna country dotted with local homesteads and colorful Masai herdsmen tending to their cattle.
Afternoon game viewing drive in this small park at the shadows of the Mount Kilimanjaro.

Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa and the highest free standing mountain in the world.
The  snow capped peaks shall  dominate the background while we marvel at the wildlife and scenery.

Overnight at your Amboseli  safari lodge or tented camp option.

What you may  see at Amboseli National Park ........

Elephant herds, Cheetah,  Bufallo,  Giraffe, Zebra, Lion, Plains Game, Crocodile, Mongoose, Hyrax, Dik -dik, Lesser Kudu and prolific birdlife.

Day 2: Amboseli National Park -  Aberdare (410km 6hrs drive)

Depart Amboseli for the Aberdare National park.

The drive takes us via the savannah and central highlands of Kenya.

Arrive the Aberdare in time for a transfer to your tree hotel (Ark or Treetops lodges)

Meals at your tree hotel.

Overnight with game viewing from the balconies of your  tree hotel / lodge

Meal Plan:  Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

NB: Only small overnight bags are allowed at the tree hotels

Game Viewing , Bird watching,Night game watching.

Day 3: Aberdares- Lake Nakuru National Park: 240 km: 4 Hrs.

Transfer to your base hotel ( either the Aberdare country club or Outspan hotel).

Proceed to   the lake Nakuru national park.
There shall be a stop to view the scenic  Thompson falls at Nyahururu.
The drive through farming country and homesteads via the Great Rift Valley escarpment is scenic.

Afternoon bird watching and game viewing drive.

Lake  Nakuru national park is home to  hundreds of thousands of  flamingoes and other bird species.

The lake  in its sanctuary hosts the black and white rhinos.

Overnight at your lake Nakuru lodge or tented camp.

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Flamingo, different terrestial  species of birds, unique vegetation about 550 different plant species, Waterfalls, White Rhino, Black Rhino, waterbucks.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park - Masai Mara Game Reserve: 285 km: 5.5 Hrs.

Morning bird and game viewing drives at the Lake Nakuru.

Depart for the Masai Mara game reserve with stops at  scenic points along the safari route

Afternoon game viewing drive at the Masai mara
Overnight at your Masai Mara safari  lodge or tented camp.

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 5: Full Day at the Masai Mara

Today shall be a game viewing extravaganza!

Masai Mara Game reserve remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system in the Natural world.
It is host to  the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals than any other wildlife park in the region.
The scenic appeal of the tree studded savannah plains, the  moderate climate and diversity of wild game species makes it a one stop shop for game viewing activities.

We shall traverse the Masai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing   encountering the big five and more of the lesser game.

Picnic lunch shall be by the Mara river as we watch hippos & crocodiles or maybe the great migration (July – October)

Overnight shall be at our Masai Mara safari lodge/ Tented camp

Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

DAY 6: Masai Mara - Nairobi (265 kms- 5 hrs)

A morning game viewing drive at the Masai mara.
An extra game drive as you depart the reserve.

Proceed to Nairobi 

Arrive Nairobi in the late afternoon.
Drop off at your nairobi hotel / Nairobi airport / residence.
