African Trekking Safaris for 2018/19
Get ready for the adventure of a lifetime this summer with Natural World Kenya Safaris! Our mountain trekking safaris are ideal for thrill seekers and hiking enthusiasts who crave a view unparalleled to anywhere else in the world. Whether you’re a seasoned trekker or if this is your first time, let Natural World help you in planning your unforgettable East African experience.
Enjoy scenic views from Mount Kenya with our five-day trekking safaris. Mount Kenya is the second tallest mountain in Africa and reaching the summit is just as rewarding an experience. Starting in Nairobi the tour follows the path of the Sirimon river and finishes through the Chogoria route. The change in routes are mesmerising enough with a drastic change in landscape, wildlife and vegetation. The final ascent up the mountain is an ideal time for game viewing and seeing the sun beaming down on the African plains. See our five-day trekking safaris in better detail here.
Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain on the continent and is a great feat to anyone who completes the trek. A minimum of six days is suggested to complete the tour, but it is available to take at your own pace with options available for adding acclimatisation days to your itinerary. Natural World Kenya Safaris take the easiest route up the mountain due to its gradual slope. You can expect to reach the snow-topped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro at just under 6000m high where you will experience spectacular views over the savannah and, on a clear day, you can see Mount Kenya 360km away. If you want your 2018 to be filled with action-packed adventure, climb Mount Kilimanjaro with Natural World.
