The Fairmont Norfolk Hotel Nairobi is located on Harry Thuku Road, an 11 mile drive from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, and within the hub of the city. It offers easy access to the business areas of Gigiri, Westlands and Upper Hill.
The rooms at the Fairmont the Norfolk comprise of 108 Rooms and 17 Suites. The rooms are either Deluxe Rooms or Veranda Rooms, each 377 sq ft, with the option of a king bed, queen bed or twin beds. A TV, reading desk and small sitting area can be found in each room, with bathrooms including a rain shower, toilet, wash sink, shower amenities, and bathrobes. There are tea & coffee making facilities in each room and complimentary fresh, bottled water is provided each day. There is an in-room safe and air-conditioning.
The two Kurura suites are magnificent; 625 sq ft, offering a queen bed, terrace and views over the courtyard plus a separate living area. Guests are given a welcome amenity upon arrival, a daily newspaper and access to an in-room a mini-bar.
The 1937 Suite is 700 sq feet and has a king bed and courtyard views. The decor in the nine 851 sq ft Signature Suites are all designed after Kenyan influencers and offer a king bed and courtyard views.
Fairmont the Norfolk Hotel is located a 17-minute drive from Nairobi National Park offering easy and close access to guests wishing to embark on a short safari during their stay in Nairobi. The park is home to a myriad of incredible wildlife including lion, leopard, buffalo, and favorites such as giraffe and zebra.
The Maasai Market is a nine-minute drive and for those looking for a little action, the Karen 18-hold golf course is a 25-minute drive from the hotel. Guests can explore downtown Nairobi or visit the gentle giants at the Giraffe Center, a half-hour drive away.
