Kilaguni Serena Lodge

Kilaguni Serena Lodge

Spend time in one of Kenya’s oldest national parks, Tsavo West, and discover outstanding hospitality blended with cultural charm in Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge. Situated with the dramatic Mt Kilimanjaro as a backdrop and surrounded by the picturesque Chuyli Hills, Kilaguni commands an iconic presence in Tsavo West. The volcanic topography lures herds of elephant and buffalo to the area while a myriad of plains game enjoy hanging out at the local watering hole, close to the lodge.

Accommodation ranges from standard to deluxe rooms with a handful of suites rounding up the offering. The lodge’s restaurant is strategically built offering magnificent views from its stone terrace of a nearby water hole, while the rock-clad bar stands out as an attraction in itself with the breathtaking Chuyli Hills visible in the distance.

Table d’hôte menus and set chef’s theme nights bring variety to meal times, with the option of a bush barbeque dinner in the presence of Mt Kilimanjaro’s far-off silhouette or sundowners on Lion’s Rock to round off an incredible day on safari. For those lazy days or cooling off between game drives, guests can relax on the sundeck of the garden swimming pool.
