From the red-dust plains of Tsavo East to Amboseli Park’s bountiful herds of elephants, from the boat ride while watching birds at Lake Naivasha to the endless stream of wildebeests and more at Masai Mara, this tour presents every sort of landscape and wildlife you can imagine.

Enjoy this amazing safari in a customized pop-up roof Natural World 4×4 Safari Jeep that has: Portable fridge/Cooler Box, 4 Binoculars, long-range high-frequency radio, Sand bags, 4G/LTE broadband WIFI connectivity, Power Outlets AC 230V, First Aid Kit, Safari Guide Books, Baby Seats Available on request, Side steps and above all a professional multi-lingual safari guide that will ensure you have a memorable safari experience, then finish your tour on a smooth train ride to the coast.

Our first day of safari will find us exploring the rugged beauty of Tsavo East National Park, Kenya’s largest reserve. The large game are here like, lion, leopard, buffalo and elephant who like to roll in the park’s red-dust soil, taking on a distinctive rosy, hue. We’ll next head for Africa’s tallest peak, snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro, landing us at Amboseli National Park, at the base of the great mountain. You’ll find the Big Five at this reserve, especially the elephants, parading proudly through the park.

Lake Naivasha isn’t just one park but several destinations. There is the fresh-water Rift Valley lake where we’ll take a boat safari, spotting hippos and birds. To get up close to grazing wildlife, we’ll go on a guided walking safari to the charming and wonder-filled Crescent Island Game Sanctuary.

Finally… Masai Mara National Reserve is Kenya’s most popular park because of its immense density of animals, alluring landscapes and, in season (July – October), its great migration of zebra and wildebeest. The park is also known for its robust lion population and sightings are quite common. You’ll quickly see, first-hand, why this park is one of the world’s most famous.

We will fit all these parks and wildlife experiences into 6 active days of exploration and fun. MOMBASA – TSAVO EAST (120 kms, Appx 2.5 hrs)

Your driver/guide will pick you up early from your Kenya coast beach resort or hotel in a 4 x 4 Jeep for your safari journey.

We’ll head out on the Mombasa-Nairobi Highway, also known as the Early Explorer’s route to Tsavo East National Park.  (There is a small route variation from Malindi/Watamu resorts)

We’ll arrive at the southern gate of Tsavo East and take a break for refreshments before our first game drive. You may be struck by the vastness of Tsavo, its rugged plains, and endless sky.

We’ll head out on our first game drive and ready ourselves for some adventure.

This is a true wilderness where you’ll be looking for lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, cheetah, ostrich, and many other hunters and grazers.

We’ll break for lunch and some relaxation time. Then jump into our 4 x 4 and look for wildlife amongst Tsavo’s famous watering holes where the thirsty game gather, especially as the day cools down.

Don’t be surprised if we catch a beautiful African sunset on our way back to camp.

Our first night will be here at Tsavo East at your choice of safari lodge or tented camp

TSAVO EAST – AMBOSELI (300 kms, Appx 4.5 hrs)

We’ll be up with the sun (or before) for an early morning game drive to watch the light break upon the plain and the first signs of wildlife.

Then we’re off to Amboseli Park at the base of majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro. The animal spotting here is brisk and fulfilling.

Amboseli is said to be perhaps the best spot in Africa for seeing free-ranging elephants. And with the great mountain in the background, it’s hard to take a bad picture.

As we get toward dinner time, look to see if the clouds covering Kilimanjaro’s snowy peak begin to part, offering a stunning vista of the famous iconic summit.

Tonight, we’ll stay at your choice of safari lodge or tented camp in Amboseli.

AMBOSELI – LAKE NAIVASHA (350 kms, Appx 5 hrs with lunch stop)

Our early wake up may again give us spectacular views of the mountain.

This will be an extended but beautiful drive, passing through Nairobi and the central highlands of Kenya.

You’ll see Masai herders, small farms, and homesteads along the way. As we enter the area of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, we’ll take breaks to enjoy the drama of the sheer walls of this natural wonder.

Arrive at the Lake Naivasha in time for lunch

Afternoon boat safari at the Lake Naivasha where you view exotic birdlife and hippos amid the serenity of this freshwater rift valley lake.

Later proceed for a guided walking safari at the Crescent Island.

Overnight at your Lake Naivasha safari lodge / tented camp.

LAKE NAIVASHA – MASAI MARA (240 kms, Appx 4 hrs)

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

An optional early morning nature / birdwatching walk in the lodge / camp expansive grounds.

And now we’re off to the Masai Mara National Reserve, the most popular park in the country. You’ll soon see why.

Your first views of the park will be of its rolling, open spaces, delightful acacia trees and perhaps some early wildlife sightings.

The Mara is known to possess the greatest concentration of wildlife in the region. So, let’s start looking for those Big Five, plus giraffe, zebra, ostrich, and so many others.

This is the first of two nights spent at the Masai Mara, at your safari lodge or tented camp.

MASAI MARA

There’s nothing like catching the dawn over the plains of the Masai Mara. The early morning light brings out the gold of the savannah and the first stirrings of the park’s hungry inhabitants.

The park is famous for its great density of wildlife – plenty of lions here. During the months of the Great Migration (July – October) prepare to see the largest movement of animals on the planet – tens of thousands of zebra and wildebeest cross the Mara River following ancient cycles of survival.

We’ll enjoy our lunch down at the river where we’ll spot hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat.

While at the Mara you can enjoy some optional activities – visit the local Maasai people to learn about their culture and perhaps pick up some souvenirs. A dawn hot air balloon ride over the park is a once-in-a-lifetime event. There’s nothing quite like watching the land and the wildlife come alive as you float above it all, taking in the immense horizon. Your driver/guide can make all the arrangements.

Our final safari night will be here at your lodge or tented camp.

MASAI MARA – NAIROBI (Masai Mara – Nairobi 265 kms, Appx. 5hrs)

Meal Plan: Breakfast

After a leisurely breakfast at your lodge/camp, your dedicated driver guide will assist you with the checkout process and proceed to Nairobi – Kenya’s colorful capital city.
