The Masai Mara is Kenya’s most popular park because of its scenic beauty and the richness of its wildlife. Here you’ll discover Africa’s Big Five, plus 100 other species of hunters and grazers. During the migration season expect to see tens of thousands of zebra and wildebeest flowing into the reserve on their yearly cycle of survival.

You’ll witness the excitement of the park’s wildlife from the comfort of your 4 x 4 Safari Jeep with a guaranteed window seat and pop-top roof for maximum visibility, offering outstanding access for photography. And, there are never more than 6 safari-goers to a vehicle.

All-Inclusive. Your 3-day Masai Mara group safari includes park entrance fees, game drives, accommodations and meals. Natural World Kenya Safaris always offers a choice of accommodations. This group tour offers lodging at the Mara Sopa Lodge or Mara Enkorok Camp. Choose from comfort or economy options.

All the lodges and camps are close to each other to more easily share your safari Jeep.

Your Guide. For your 3-day Masai Mara group journey, you’ll be guided, hosted and looked after by your own experienced driver/guide.

Transportation to the park and game viewing will be in a 4 x 4 Land Cruiser Jeep – this vehicle is the safari standard with its higher seating and rugged all-wheel drive. NAIROBI – MASAI MARA  (Appx: 260kms- 5- hrs)

Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. 

0500 hrs. – Your driver/guide will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel or residence. Should you be arriving on an early morning flight, we’ll arrange for your airport pickup.

With our group all set, we’ll head out to the Masai Mara National Reserve. We’ll be traveling through Masai country, exploring the floor of the Great Rift Valley.

We shall stop along the way for breakfast and collect our packed lunches for the day.

We’ll progress to the Mara, taking in local homesteads and perhaps Maasai herdsmen in their colorful wraps, tending to their cattle.

Arriving at the Masai Mara in the midmorning, we’ll have plenty of time for our first game drive over the savannah of this beautiful park, with its many iconic acacia trees punctuating the landscape.

This rich and diverse eco-system offers the most wildlife of any park in the region so be ready for plenty of animal spotting.

This will be the first of two nights at the Masai Mara game reserve.

Accommodation shall be in economy or comfort level safari lodge or tented camp

This will be the first of two nights in the park at Orng’atuny Mara King Camp (economy) or Mara Sopa Lodge (comfort), or a similar hotel

FULL DAY AT THE MASAI MARA

Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. 

This will be a day of unlimited game drives for your group. Explore the depth and breadth of the most famous park in the world.

Sightings of the Big Five are not uncommon so keep an eye out for lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino.

Your group will have an opportunity to drive down to the Mara River, site of the Great Migration when in season – July through October.

The immense herds of wildebeest and zebra are a magnificent sight, matched only by the drama of the predators who lie in wait for them.

At the river, we’ll see hippos but also camouflaged in their natural habitat we’ll spot the many crocodiles awaiting the wildlife traversing the river. This is a spectacle that has played out for millennia.

To bring more texture to your experience at the Mara, you may want to experience a visit to the local Maasai people in their nearby village. Meet these indigenous people and see up close their ancient lifestyle and culture.

Want an unforgettable sight? Take a pre-dawn hot air balloon ride high above the reserve as the morning light breaks across the golden savannah and witness the herds of wildlife emerging into the day.

Your driver/guide can arrange either of these optional excursions.

Our final safari night will be at your choice economy or Comfort safari Camp / Lodge

This will be the first of two nights in the park at Orng’atuny Mara King Camp (economy) or Mara Sopa Lodge (comfort), or a similar hotel

MASAI MARA – NAIROBI (265 kms – 5 hrs)

After a leisurely breakfast at your lodge/camp, your dedicated driver guide will assist you with the checkout process and proceed to Nairobi – Kenya’s colorful capital city.

This is the best time to schedule your optional Masai village visit or to experience Masai Mara on a hot air Baloon ride.

You can also choose to detour  via Lake Naivasha for lunch/excursions at an extra cost or drive straight to Nairobi.

We should arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon, at about 16:30 hrs. (4:30 pm). We’ll then drop you off at your hotel, residence or the airport.
