The Grandest Parks, Lakes and Wildlife
10 DAYS, 9 NIGHTS: MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE – LAKE VICTORIA/BUNDA AREA – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK – NGORONGORO CRATER – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Daily Private Safari Tour

Masai Mara, Lake Victoria – Bunda Area, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, Amboseli

From / to Nairobi Kenya

Starts Nairobi/Ends Nairobi – We’ll pick you up from the airport or your hotel. Travel comfortably in your own pop-top safari minivan. Switch in Tanzania to a private pop-top 4 x 4 Land Cruiser Jeep.

The largest tropical lake in the world. The biggest animal migration on the planet. The highest concentration of wildlife anywhere. This Natural World Safaris’ 10-day adventure brings you up close to experience the biggest and best of Kenya and Tanzania.

From the natural wonder of the Masai Mara habitat with its thundering herds of wildebeest and zebra to the immense grasslands of the Serengeti populated with lion, leopard, elephant and rhino, the spectacle of this safari is certain to leave you in awe.

You’ll journey to the world’s largest intact volcanic crater and visit a realm of wildlife few ever get the chance to see. So get ready for 10 full days of discovery and wonder as you venture out to meet the best of East Africa.

We depart Nairobi for the great savannahs of the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. This world-famous habitat is known for viewing the Big Five – lion, leopard, black rhino, buffalo and elephant. On these rolling plains, accented with their signature acacia trees, you’ll be greeted by these and dozens of other species.

You’ll witness unlimited game drives here. A highlight – you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch at the Mara River as you watch hippos and possibly crocodiles enjoy their lunch!

Then we embark to Tanzania and the grandness of Lake Victoria. The largest lake in Africa and the world’s second largest fresh water lake, Victoria is 68,000 square km, larger than some countries! It’s considered to be the source of the Nile River and is home to 100 bird species.

After the excitement of the Mara relax on Victoria’s shores. At the nearby town of Bunda you can visit the market. We’ll also tour a nearby fishing village, meet the locals and learn about fishing techniques and life on the lake.

Next, we’ll travel to perhaps the most populated wildlife refuge in the world, Serengeti National Park. You’ve seen its sweeping panoramas in movies – now’s your time to encounter the immense Serengeti. The treeless plains hold millions of wildebeest, zebra, eland and, of course, the larger predators like lion, leopard, rhino and elephant.

On your game drives here you’ll also encounter gazelle, impala, waterbuck, klipspringer, plus monkey and baboon. These are the lands where the great migration begins so get ready to be in awe.

Ngorongoro Crater is a wildlife habitat unto itself. Buckle up because you’re going to descend in your 4 x 4 to the crater floor and witness the incredible concentration of game which make their home in this extinct volcano. There’s a high concentration of lion here as well as other large animals like the black rhino, Cape buffalo and hippo. Zebra, eland and gazelle also abound in the special eco-system so be alert.

We’ll head back up the crater to your lodge and relax with an unforgettable sunset view. The next morning the crater rim will again impress with a glorious sunrise.

Now we head to our last stop in Tanzania, a compact but impressive place of towering baobab trees, lion and zebra – Tarangire National Park. You’ll have opportunities to view elephant on the plains and something you might not encounter anywhere else – an abundance of huge termite mounds. They’re big, bizarre and very photogenic!

We’ll cross back to Kenya to enjoy the last highlight of your safari adventure, Amboseli National Park. The park offers inspiring views of Mt. Kilimanjaro, especially when the clouds clear revealing the snow-capped dome of Africa’s highest peak. But back down on the ground you’ll be treated to the best spot on the continent to view great herds of elephants. And like any self-respecting Kenyan park there are lion, cheetah, giraffe and zebra to fill out your day and wrap up this amazing adventure.

All-Inclusive. Your 10-Day safari includes park entrance fees, accommodations and meals. Natural World Safaris always offers a wide choice of accommodations. Depending on your budget and style choose from economy, comfort, superior comfort or luxury safari lodges or tented camps.

Your Guide. For your entire 10-day journey you’ll be guided, hosted and looked after by your own experienced driver/guide.

Tanzania travel between parks and game viewing will be in a private pop-top 4 x 4 Land Cruiser Jeep. Optional upgrade in Kenya to 4 x 4 Land Cruiser Jeep.
