BEACH TO SAFARI – 2 DAYS – TSAVO EAST & TSAVO WEST
2 National Parks, From Beach to Beach

Daily Private Safari Tour
in 4x4 Jeep

Two Outstanding National Parks

Starts From/Returns to Watamu, Malindi beach resorts. We’ll pick you up from your hotel or resort. Then travel comfortably in your own 4 x 4 Land Cruiser Jeep.

If you’re thinking about a quick getaway to see Kenya’s big game, this is the perfect tour. Just a few hours from the beach and you’ll be crossing over the savannah, tracking lions, leopards, elephants and buffalo. No advance planning needed – we can have you booked on safari in the time it takes to make a phone call.

On this Natural World Kenya Safari, you’ll be exploring the red soil plains of Tsavo East National Park, looking for the big cats and great patrolling groups of elephants. We’ll head to the reserve’s watering holes, a natural gathering spot for thirsty wildlife, plus home to hippos, crocodiles and incredible birdlife.

We’ll next journey over to neighboring Tsavo West National Park where you’ll find the landscape of savannah and rolling hills varied, green and pleasing to the eye. In this large and popular park, you’ll discover Mzima Springs, a verdant oasis of waterfowl and wildlife. And if rhinos are your thing you’ve come to the right place as the park is home to the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, a protected enclave of dozens of these endangered creatures.

How’s all that for a change from the beach? And if you’ve got any favorites, special requests or wishes, let us know. We’re here to make a customized safari that fits your needs.

All-Inclusive. Your 2-day trip to Tsavo East/Tsavo West safari includes park entrance fees, game drives, accommodations and meals. Natural World Safaris always offers a wide choice of accommodations. Transportation to the park and game viewing will be in a private 4 x 4 Land Cruiser Jeep – this vehicle is the safari standard with its higher seating and rugged all-wheel drive.

You can also opt for a pop-top Safari minivan instead at a discounted rate.

MALINDI/WATAMU – TSAVO EAST (120 KMS – Approx. 2-3 hours)

Meal Plan: Lunch, Dinner

We’ll be up early for a busy safari day, traveling along the Malindi – Sala Gate Road.  Enjoy a picturesque drive along the Kenyan countryside.

Entering the gates of Tsavo East is a portal into a new realm where the wildlife has held forth for millennia and man is a relative newcomer. But you’ll feel at home here as the animal sightings add to your experience and memories.

We’ll travel over to the park’s famous watering holes like the Aruba Dam and the Kamderi marsh areas where the game gathers for the life-giving waters.

Lunch follows and time for rest, as a pause in the mid-day heat.

Later in the afternoon, we’ll embark on another game drive collecting more big game sightings and then we’re off to Tsavo West Park for another type of wildlife adventure.

The black rhino is a commanding but shy creature. The rhino sanctuary here is home to over 80 of these endangered animals. During our game drives, we’ll head over and see how many of the rhinos we can find.

We’ll spend the evening in the park, at your choice of safari lodge or tented camp.

What you may see at Tsavo East National park …………

Tsavo east is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust-red elephant, Rhino, Buffalo, Lion, Leopard , pods of hippo, waterbucks, Lesser Kudu, Gerenuk and Hirola.

TSAVO WEST – MALINDI/WATAMU (240 KMS – Approx. 5-6 hours)

Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch.

We’ll be up early for our second safari day to see as much wildlife as possible. There’s nothing like Africa’s golden light breaking over the hills and forest, calling to us and the animals, to emerge into the morning and see what adventures lie ahead.

Breakfast will follow at your accommodation. And then we hit the safari trail looking for more adventure as we track the “Big Five” plus smaller hunters and grazers like impala, hartebeest and the adorable bushbaby.

Traveling over the park’s trails we’ll come upon the green palms and crystal waters of Mzima Springs, a life-giving haven for Tsavo’s wildlife. Here, we’ll leave our 4 x 4 to stretch and walk along the green shores to view hippo, crocodile, fish and varieties of birds. Also attracted to this refuge are many of the park’s animals, like zebra, monkeys, baboons and sometimes elephants.

Speaking of elephants, Tsavo West hosts a large population of these majestic figures and we’ll be looking for them amongst the rolling hills and plains,

But finally, it’s time to head back to the Kenya Coast. We’ve had two full days of wild parkland travel and wild animal sightings. Thank you for being our guest!

We should arrive at your hotel or resort in the late afternoon. You’ll have new memories to add to your holiday and hopefully for years to come. And when you next plan to go on safari, we hope you’ll visit us again at Natural World. Thank you – Asante!
