About me: Growing up, I always dreamt of extensively exploring our Country Kenya. I grew up in a beautiful town outside Nairobi City called Machakos. Back then, Kenyans viewed travelling so differently from to date and so did i. I would be so excited just boarding a bus to Nairobi. Since then, my passion for travel began. I have been eager to see and experience all the beauty our unique Kenya, has to offer.
After finishing High school, I decided to get to the travel and tourism industry. I moved to Eldoret town where I attended university where studied Bachelor of Travel and tourism operations. I then moved back to Nairobi city where have absolutely fell in love with its adventure and cultural diversity. I have since moved to Nairobi Town. This city is just a hub for adventure, the city has Nairobi National Park, a large game reserve known for breeding endangered black rhinos and home to giraffes, zebras and lions. Next to it is a well-regarded elephant orphanage operated by the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. Nairobi is also often used as a jumping-off point for safari trips elsewhere in Kenya.
Languages: I am well conversant with Kamba, Swahili and English. Am also learning Spanish and I can understand a little bit of it.
My Favorite Destinations: My favorite park is the Amboseli National Park. The giants here are the great herds of elephants. Hundreds of them. Amboseli is known as the best place in Africa for getting up close to free-ranging elephants. The adventure of getting up very early in the morning when the weather is permitting to try your luck on the Kilimanjaro peaks is the best experience.for me.
Favorite Wild Animals: My favorite While animal is the Rhino. One of the The Big 5 animals. A very shy animal not easily traced in most of the Parks it likes hide so much.
My Africa Safari Picks:
My favorite safari tour, is the 7 days safari package
starting from Nairobi and ending at the Coastal beach. A full week of safari excitement to Kenya’s most spectacular parks! I would recommend this safari especially for a family.
My Favorite Accomodation Choices: My favorite accommodation is the Naserian Mara Camp.
The camp is Located at The Lemek Conservancy in Masai Mara.
My Favorite Travel Moments: I have travelled across the country extensively, from the Northern, western, eastern and Southern Circuit. Masai Mara National Reserve, Amboseli National Park, Tsavo National Park , Northern and southern Coast and so much more. Return to page
Kenya, with its diverse wildlife habitats, its great rift valley and lakes, its prolific bird life and rich culture and crafts, is one of Africa's most successful conservation communities.
Expect the unexpected: this is Africa and she lives by the beat of her own drum. Look out the window during long drives and appreciate the differences, the people and the scenery. Stay hydrated ! But, most importantly, come back again! There’s always more to see.
Everywhere. But If I had to narrow it down, I would love to visit Hawaii (Maui Islands), Maldives and Seychelles.
