A wildlife safari tour to the Ol Pejeta wildlife sanctuary in 2 days, 1 night of game viewing drives in search of the Big5.

Tour provides opportunities to stop at the Equator crossing, see tea & coffee plantations,view the snow-capped  peaks of Mount Kenya and wildlife at the Ol pejeta game sanctuary.

You shall marvel at the diversity of Kenya’s climate zones and spot unique animal species at Ol Pejeta including Reticulated Giraffe, Grevys Zebra, Elephants, Tree hyrax, White tailed mongoose, Black Fronted Dicker, Mole Rat, Bushbuck, Waterbuck, Elands, Rhino, Chimpanzee among many others.

Safari departs Nairobi and proceeds via the central highlands of Kenya with subsistence, pineapple, coffee and tea plantations along the route.

Your Guide. For your  journey, you’ll be guided, hosted and looked after by your own experienced driver/guide.

Transportation between parks and game viewing will be in a private 4 x 4 Land Cruiser Jeep – this vehicle is the safari standard with its higher seating and rugged all-wheel drive.

You can also opt for a basic pop-top Safari minivan instead at a discounted rate.

NAIROBI – OL-PEJETA (220km: Approx: 3-4 Hours)

Meal plan: Lunch, Dinner

0730hrs: Pick up from your Nairobi area hotel or Nairobi airport.

Leave  Nairobi for the Aberdare /Mount Kenya area in Laikipia county.

The safari drive is  via the agricultural zones of central Kenya.

There shall be stops to view tea / coffee plantations and a maybe a local market

You shall also stop to view the Equator crossing.

Proceed to  the OlPejeta Wildlife Conservancy.

The Olpejeta is located on the equator and between the Aberdare and Mount Kenya.

It covers approximately 360KM square kilometers.

Afternoon game viewing drives at the Ol pejeta Game Sanctuary.

 

Overnight at your Olpejeta camp or lodge

OL-PEJETA – NAIROBI (220km: Approx: 3-4 Hours)

Early morning game viewing drives at the Ol Pejeta Game Sanctuary.

Later depart for Nairobi.

Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch.

Arrive Nairobi in the early evening.
