Located in the Seronera Tana Spring region of the central Serengeti National Park, the Serengeti Safari Lodge offers a luxury stay in one of East Africa’s top safari destinations. A key feature of the Lodge is the inviting rectangle swimming pool located at the main area. Views from the loungers set up around the pool offer guests views over the plains and shrubland surrounding the Lodge. The main dining area is beautifully appointed and meals are created with a mix of international and local flavors. The lounge area has a cozy fireplace and a well-stocked bar.
Guests have the option to browse the small gift shop on sight and take some time out with a massage or spa treatment during their stay. Keep a look out for wildlife roaming in the distance as you sit outside your luxury stone chalet and enjoy a menu of safari activities that include guided bush walks and safari drives.

The Serengeti Safari Lodge is located in the Seronera Tara Spring area of the central Serengeti National Park in Tanzania’s Northern safari circuit. An approximate one-hour flight from Arusha will have guests arrive at the Seronera Airstrip, then take a seven-mile safari transfer through the Park to the Lodge. Driving from Arusha is far with a time of around nine hours.
15 beautiful luxury spacious stone chalets are privately set up at the Serengeti Safari Lodge, with private verandahs that overlook the Serengeti plains. The windows are large with netting over them and beds are four-poster, covered with mosquito netting. A writing desk and chair are located in each chalet, set upon a wooden floor, lit by warm chandelier lighting. Decor comprises neutral tones, with wooden railings placed around a long verandah. The chalets are en-suite with a vanity, toilet and shower, with a selection of luxury bathroom amenities for guests to use during their stay.
Guests staying at the serene Serengeti Safari Lodge can enjoy 4×4 game drives that take place early in the morning and late in afternoon. Bird watching is wonderful in this region and guests will have time to sit on sightings with a qualified guide. Guided bush walks introduce the smaller wonders of the bush to guests and for something slightly different, visits to a nearby community will introduce guests to the cultural heritage of local tribes.
