Set moments away from central Serengeti National Park in Tanzania’s Northern Circuit, the Serengeti Safari Lodge offers a vibe of authenticity and luxury, immersing guests into the heart of nature. The Serengeti Sound of Nature Luxury Tented Camp is nestled in the heart of the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. The nearest airstrip is the Seronera Airstrip which is 17 miles from camp, with regular flights scheduled from Arusha, a journey of approximately one hour. A safari transfer will take you from the airstrip to the Lodge, an opportunity to witness incredible wildlife along the way.
The Serengeti Sound of Nature comprises eight beautifully crafted luxury tented houses, each decorated to depict African design. Comfort and elegance is the theme throughout with wooden walls, canvas roofing and reeded carpet floors. The beds are wrought iron with mosquito netting with a bedside table, lamp and cowhide-covered hide on the chest set at the end of the bed. Beds can be configured as Double or Twin. There is a small writing desk and chair, and the bathroom is en-suite with a vanity, toilet and shower.
Heading out on a 4×4 game drive is the primary safari experience when staying at the Serengeti Sound of Nature. Exploring the incredible Serengeti terrain and enjoying the intimacy of a guided bush walk are key features when staying here. Guests have the opportunity to learn about heritage and culture when spending time at a cultural village in a nearby community, and bird watching rounds up the activities at this wonderful tented stay.
