Starts Zanzibar/Ends Zanzibar – We’ll pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to nearby Abeid Karume International Airport for your morning flight to Arusha.

Imagine flying directly from the golden shores of Zanzibar directly to the rolling hills and endless plains of the Serengeti. You’ll go from the breezy surf to an earthy world of elephants, lions, and wildebeests in just a few hours. Practically door to door!

This special Serengeti-exclusive safari was created for those who want to take a short break from the beach and easily drop into the wildlife riches of Tanzania’s biggest and most famous park.

Over the span of three days, you’ll explore the epic reaches of this busy reserve with its vast numbers of animals. And then: we’ll fly you right back to the beaches of Zanzibar – a brief interlude into the heart of Africa’s most notable wild kingdom. Here’s what we have planned for you:

Early Take Off From Zanzibar

Are you ready for the Serengeti? You’ll be picked up from your hotel or resort on Zanzibar Island and whisked to the international airport. Take-off is at 8:00 am for the scenic flight over the ocean and Tanzania’s dramatic fields, bringing you to a convenient airstrip right near the park.

There, your Natural World Kenya Safaris driver/guide will greet you and escort you to a private 4 x 4 Land Cruiser Safari Jeep. Hop in, we’ll head to the park, get you settled at your safari lodge or tented camp, and enjoy lunch before we set out for our first game drive over the mighty Serengeti.

A Wonder of Africa

The great reaches of the Serengeti have been called a “natural wonder” of the world and of Africa with its immense regions overflowing with wildlife – 3,000 lions, more than any other park, or its 5,000 elephants.

But in terms of sheer numbers of animals, during the wildebeest migration, you can witness tens and even hundreds of thousands of these grazers along with uncountable zebras, and gazelles.

Over our three days in the park, we’ll also be tracking for jackal, wild dog, wolf, buffalo, hartebeest, honey badger, and in the rivers and marshes… hippos, and crocodiles. And don’t forget the monkeys and baboons.

A Complete Safari

On our third day in the park, we’ll head to the airstrip for the late morning flight back to Zanzibar. There, a Natural World Kenya Safaris driver will greet you and bring you to your hotel.
