Daily Private Safari Tour by 4x4 jeep
On this 10-day safari adventure, you’ll see, feel, and touch the deep variety of Africa’s best national parks and reserves. From dazzling pink flamingos to countless roaming wildebeests, the unending variety of wildlife of these great savannahs, lakes, and forests will captivate and touch you deeply.
This African safari will take you to such world-famous sites as the great Serengeti, the Masai Mara, and the unforgettable Ngorongoro Crater. You’ll be immersed in displays of wildlife that will bring you up close to nature’s true reality.
Other parks on your journey such as Lake Manyara and Amboseli offer incredible displays of bird species and great herds of elephants that you’ll experience nowhere else. You’re going to see so much on this 10-day Natural World Kenya Safari that you may want to start planning now.
We begin in Nairobi and head out to Mt. Kilimanjaro and Amboseli National Park. You’re guaranteed to see great parades of free-ranging elephants at Amboseli. But you’ll also be tracking for lion, cheetah, and hyena… and over 370 species of birds. And there’s a good chance you’ll get to view the snow-capped summit of Africa’s highest peak, Mt. Kilimanjaro.
What’s next? Tanzania! And a unique reserve – Lake Manyara National Park. Everything is a bit special here. Not only is there exceptional birdlife such as egret, spoonbill, and heron, but you’ll be treated to a great pink sea of glittering flamingos!
Even the lions here aren’t ordinary. The great felines of Manyara are tree climbers! It’s not unusual to see one draped across a tree limb, fast asleep. Throw in elephants, giraffes, zebras, and a huge troop of baboons… you can see why Manyara is so special.
The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. It’s our next stop and we’ll travel down to the crater floor to discover the highest density of lions and predators in Africa. This 260 sq km (100 sq. miles) habitat is also home to rhino, buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, eland, and many other species.
Moving on to the Serengeti we’ll explore the steep-sided ravine of Olduvai Gorge. You may have heard of this site, one of the oldest that humankind has inhabited. Great finds of fossilized remains testify to man’s early development here dating back 2 million years.
Moving over this ancient land we come upon the sweeping grasslands of Serengeti National Park. This is home to the first stirrings of the greatest animal migration on the planet. From this place, close to two million wildebeest, zebra, and other wildlife begin their annual trek into the Masai Mara. Everything here is vast, dense, and seriously impressive.
We’ll next follow the path of that same great migration into Kenya and the Masai Mara National Reserve. The Mara is also home to the Big Five as well as dozens of other species. Known for its splendid landscapes of flat-topped acacia trees, this park’s emotional center is the Mara River where you’ll picnic near the company of hippos and crocodiles as untold wildebeest and zebra pour into the park.
Heading back north, our next reserve appears in contrast to the great plains of the Mara – the compact but lovely water park of Lake Naivasha. We’ll enjoy a unique water safari on the lake, gliding past hippos, while we view giraffes, and zebra on the nearby shore and the extensive birdlife all around.
Ten full days on safari – you’re practically a pro! We hope you enjoyed this deep dive into the best natural wonders Africa has to offer. From all of us at Natural World Kenya Safaris – a big safari thanks.
From here you’ll head either to Nairobi or the Kenya coast depending on your holiday plans.

The park is rich with wildlife, the greatest density of any reserve in the region. So, it’s not unusual to come upon some or all of Africa’s “Big Five”, including lion and leopard. And during the Great Migration from July to October, this reserve becomes the site of the greatest animal show on earth. Crossing into the park over the Mara River is a fantastic avalanche of wildebeests and zebra advancing in search of life-sustaining vegetation.Waiting for them are crocodiles and other predators playing out the endless cycle of life on the African plain. It is a never to be forgotten spectacle. If you wish you can also view this awesome display from above on an optional hot air balloon safari.
